Winstonia Chess Primer

In this book I will guide you through the basics of understanding the board, the pieces, the rules, and the objective of the game. I will cover basic strategy and tactics that will make you a better player but presented in simple to the point language and terminology. The book is graced with lots of pictures, illustrations, and art. If you are new to chess, you should start with lessons 1. I will cover the board, chess pieces, rules, notation, basic mates, and elementary tactics. It then takes you by the hand and leads you through a whole range of more advanced strategies, including piece development, openings, pawn structure, and attacking the king. This book is recommended for young and old.My experience as a Fide School Instructor is based on teaching chess to children in Primary and Secondary schools as a volunteer in the age group from 7 up to 18 years old, as well as private tutoring to (senior) adults. From absolute beginners to aspiring tournament players in the regional and country competitions.
