Victimology and human security new horizons

Victimology and Human Security: New Horizons is important for academics and practitioners in justice systems, in psychology and psycho-traumatology. It looks at rape-, torture- and dating victimizations, disaster- and environmental victimization. It deals with migrants, refugees, minorities, homeless and trafficked humans. These diverse fields are held together by an evidence based search to improve the situation of suffering surviving victims.The book containts a selection of papers presented at the 13th international symposium on victimology. The conference was hosted by the World Society of Victimology and Tokiwa University, Mito,Japan August 23-28, 2009.
